The 2022 Men's College World Series gives college baseball fans a little bit of everything.
There's the blue blood programs. Six-time champion Texas, which leads all of college baseball with its 38th trip to the CWS, joins fellow multi-national champion programs Stanford and Oklahoma as programs that have stood atop the college baseball world.
Then there's the teams looking for their first-ever national championship. Ranked teams Auburn and Texas A&M, each coming off wins against fellow ranked opponents, are hoping this is a year they finally cap off a season with a title, while unranked Notre Dame, Arkansas and Ole Miss are looking to continue their underdog runs to the CWS with their first championships.

ESPN will continue its coverage of the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament with the full broadcast of the 2022 College World Series, with games being carried on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU.
Fans will also be able to stream the games on ESPN+ or on fuboTV, though users will need the Sports Plus or fubo Extra add-on to see the ESPNU games.
Tennessee was viewed as one of the most dominant teams in the history of the sport. Unranked Notre Dame ended the Volunteers' bid for a title. No. 8 East Carolina was looking for its first-ever trip to Omaha by hosting a super-regional. No. 9 Texas, instead, will go to the College World Series for a record 38th time. Gavin Cross was the best MLB prospect left in the super-regionals. Unranked Oklahoma knocked him and No. 4 Virginia Tech out.
Now, eight teams are left with championship hopes on the line and tickets to Omaha in hand. Four teams will fight it out in the two brackets with a chance to play in the College World Series final, starting on June 25.

The 2022 College World Series field is set, and it will feature two of the top national seeds and six other teams that beat the odds to reach the pinnacle of college baseball.
The teams headed to the CWS are: No. 2 seed Stanford, No. 5 Texas A&M, No. 9 Texas, No. 14 Auburn, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Ole Miss.
Of the top eight national seeds in the NCAA baseball tournament, only Stanford and Texas A&M remain. Two of the other 16 national seeds — Texas and Auburn — won on the road in their best-of-three super regionals to get to Omaha, Nebraska, where the eight-team, double-elimination CWS starts Friday and runs through June 27.
As for the other four teams in the field — Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Ole Miss — none were national seeds, but all made their way from regionals to super regionals and now are headed to the CWS.
Six teams won their super regionals between Saturday and Sunday to claim their CWS spots, while the final two teams to clinch berths — Stanford and Auburn — won Game 3s on Monday.
